Trembowla Cross of Freedom

The Trembowla Cross of Freedom Historic Site and Museum commemorates the first Ukrainian Divine Liturgy celebrated in Canada in 1897 by Rev. Nestor Dmytriw.  Also preserved at the site and designated as a provincially geritage site building is St. Michael's first Ukrainian Catholic Church in Canada, (Circa 1898)  Other historic buildings included Grotto, pioneer home and school displaying various artifacts from the pioneer Ukrainian settlement era.
 
Trembowla is located 27 km northwest of Dauphin on PR 362 and PR 491 Trembowla Road.

Open during the summer months and by appointment.
